There Is A Moment

            There is a moment, when light pierces the darkness, when the valley walked through isn't void of any way forward. There is a moment, when circumstances are still there, though they've now lost their hold, and we can walk forward. There is a moment, where the valley doesn't go away, WE go a way forward that Jesus provides, provides as we listen and follow; and I am following. 

              There is a moment, where we remember the valley doesn't define, only refines, and we continue toward a mountaintop, appreciating it more as we remember what it took to get there that makes it more valuable to us.

This Is A Letter

              This is a letter, from a modern-day man, to one who may need this. Here I am writing once again, of creating and hoping as you do. This is a message, to someone somewhere, hoping you don't quit, especially when it's tough and creativity doesn't happen easily. This is a word, a surprising "word for someone" that you have a gift, one that can help others (and will help you too), that is good and constructive and will bring others to Jesus. This is an attempt to reach out, hoping it finds you well, and if it doesn't it helps you be well, remembering you aren't alone. Trial And Error (How To Grow)

              Over the years I've had to work past the fear of failure (the fear of trying even). I'd like to say I've mastered this area; I'd like to be honest even more though. Everything has been trial and error over the years. Here's how to do this thing. Here's how to think. Here's how to feel. Here's how to believe this or that, and so on.               It's been exhausting at times, and more than once even defeating when the floor of failure is hit. There remains the temptation to not get back up again in those moments (we've all been there). One thing in growing through trial and error though is to REMEMBER what's good (what's worked). We can get lost in what hasn't and believe the lie that NOTHING will. We must remember that it doesn't have to be perfect, that there must simply be some sort of forward motion (and this can look different for us all).
