Walking

Walking, walking through valleys; still I don't walk alone. Worn, weary with each step; still I am not abandoned. From such glorious Light I am encouraged in the journey, empowered by the Shepherd who leads me among the wolves hidden; I am redeemed! Walking, walking with Jesus, the Light Of The World, listening as the Good Shepherd speaks a better word to my weary soul as He carries me on. Relieved

Relieved. Relieved that I have freedom even here. Reassured. Reassured that there is still hope; hope for our forgiveness of sins, a God like ours, Jesus! Grateful. Grateful He forgives us and delights to show mercy to us, compassion, relenting His anger at long last and dealing completely with our sins!          Grateful for a God like ours, a Savior, Jesus, who redeems us and gives us freedom and restoration in His presence!  Inspired by Micah 7:18-19 Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. Safe

Fear not; in terrors in the night, dangers in the day. Fear not; that hunting sickness in the night watches, destroying in the light of day. Fear not weary soul; you are safe in his presence, safe from fear when you remain in Him. Remain in jesus. With

Protection. Protection under His faithfulness; seeing the victory in it all. Refuge. Safe under the wings of His love. Shielded in His presence. He will protect you with Himself. Remain in Him. In Passing (Pantoum Poem)

In passing I'm seeing, but not stopping.  In going I'm reflecting, but not dwelling.  Sometimes forgetfulness is my way.  Sometimes regret seems better currency.  In going I'm reflecting, but not dwelling.  Here, now, I learn to live better.  Sometimes regret seems better currency.  Sometimes failure speaks louder.  Here, now, I learn to live better.  Learning again to let go.  Sometimes failure speaks louder.  Even in the loud darkness I train my ears for good.  Learning again to let go.  Sometimes forgetfulness is my way.  Even in loud darkness I train my ears for good.  In passing I'm seeing, but not stopping. Surely

Surely, surely you will be saved. Saved from the snares of evil; saved from sickness and disease. Surely you'll remember. Remember worn soul, remember.           Surely there will be deliverance. Believe and hope in faith that Jesus will keep you safe; surely He will (Psalm 91:3). Say It

Say it. Say it fully. Say it in faith. Speak to the chaos. Tell it who He is; and through Him, you.           Speak to the unrest, fear that tries to destroy, a noisy system trying to tell you who you are when it can't. Say it. Say it fully. Remember in the loud voices of the world, of trials, who He is, Jesus, who you are in Him.          I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." (Psalm 91: 2) ; Jesus; and I am secure in Him. Resting

Resting, resting; not in the usual way. Time taken to recover within. Resting, resting; letting heaven speak, and with them ideas that bid me listen and be whole. Listen and record, speaking rest from a busy and loud world.             Resting, resting; not in the usual way, better better in God's Word, empowering truth with beautiful imagery in expression as Heaven speaks, and Jesus from there to my worn soul, healing again. Time (Triolet Poem)

The right time to make time.  The right time for write time.  The time to write right, right now.  The right time to make time.  The time to try tenaciously. The time to triumph totally. The right time to make time.  The right time for write time.  Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. To Refresh (Triolet Poem)

Just a minute or two to refresh myself. Walking out pressure on a page. Working pressure out through a page.  Just a minute or two to refresh myself. Breathing life in as heavy is exhaled. Praying in each moment lived and written. Just a minute or two to refresh myself. Walking out pressure on a page. There Was A Shift (Triolet Poem)

There was a shift in the day. Wondering what to make of it. I sensed the blessing.  There was a shift in the day. Something changed. Something powerful happened. There was a shift in the day. Wondering what to make of it. Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. In The Dreary Daylight

Decompressing in the dreary daylight. Opening up elusive opportunities as the morning greets with sleepy eyes most call cloudy skies. Sleep tries to tell me stop. Pain reminds me to listen as age and difficult labor are my daily encounters; this too shall pass. I see past clouds through faith, and a caffeinated conscious glance. I look with new moves, slow but steadily moving forward in faith, ready to see what Jesus will do. It Will Not Make Sense

It will not make sense, still a rest is required. So I dream in fiction as I write tired words. Thinking on the blurry lines between what is and isn't true. Remembering the colorful dragonfly seen earlier in the day. Wondering what this everyday marvel must see, flying here and there and everywhere. No agenda. No quota to produce. Just a life to live, fully present in the moment life is lived through the air of everyday that ushers in the extraordinary.              It will not make sense, still an outlet is necessary. So I see through creativity as I write tired words from a tired soul. Thinking on the blurry lines between what is and isn't true. Considering the kind dog, make that two, curious what they're thinking when I gave some attention to them in passing. Offered kindness, given friendship, when they didn't seem to have it then. "A friend, a grace!", I imagine them thinking; no place to go but life and the liv...

In Three Minutes

In three minutes I'll write to release tension, tension under pressure of busy. In three minutes I'll express creatively, honestly, the weight felt, fatigue lived out, hope that still remains. In three minutes I'll write to live whole again as I write and pray. In The Constant

Past the change. Past the shifting that's shifting me; I'm looking. Past the breakdown, where Jesus knows I've broke down from time to time; still I've been given grace. Grace to get up and enter the day again, where the "nights" of life have felt long. In the constant changes. In the hustle, where I struggle, finding hope again in faith; faith that tells me my circumstances don't define me, don't define my family, they're just moments of shifting, where Jesus never does.  Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. Where It's Beautiful

The world is heavy, and so am I. Walking under loads that wear down. The days are trying; pushing going and arriving in ways that drain and exhaust; still, there is hope. Hope in Jesus, friend of sinners, outcasts, and the broken ones. There is grace, in His presence, and with it mercy, forgiveness, and redemption. There is new life found in Jesus, who daily bears our burdens, where it's okay, where it's beautiful. The Day

The day, where all is new and ready to be found. The light, where grace and faith begin as each breath is taken. The hope, found in something new, something to be rejoiced: the day the Lord has made, where any good thing is possible in the day given by Jesus.  Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. Rest (Acrostic Nonfiction)

Rest in Jesus from worry, assault, harm. Enter encouragement found in His presence.  Stay in His love, His leading, His truth.  Take time to remember Him, and you'll rest. Rest in Him by remembering Him. Grateful For

Hard ground walked on a hard journey that stretches for miles. Looking far ahead and the end of the unforgiving trail seems to never end; seems. Still I continue on as the pain continues on, reminding me I'm human, that I need Jesus. I walk on as age and physical labor continue to wear on me, remembering this is only temporary, but the presence of Jesus and His love, help, and power to empower me are eternal; something I'm grateful for.  Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. All At Once

All at once it's happening, life and the living of it. All at once it's going on, the moments in minutes that collide with each other and I'm just trying to keep pace, engaging with what I can the best I can.        All together when life is all together, first in different directions, then we all gather together, the three of us that make us family. Fast and all at once, so I look at one moment once, then the next, moving through the busy. All at once it starts to come together, better a little at a time; here in the busy and the going, the living of life when it's busy, grateful to Jesus for these moments that come all at once, whether it's busy or not.  Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also.
