After (Pantoum Poem)

Longer I'd write, shortening after. 

First more, then a little less. 

Up and down as the struggle was embraced. 

Up and down, writing varying word counts.

Whittled down to the right count.

Looking after at the smaller. 

Whittled down to the right count. 

One, then two, as a lessen and hone words.

          I saw the child before me, showing joy and innocence, present in the present and fully embracing jubilation even in the everyday. When I Feel Invisible

         When I feel invisible, I slip into it, walk through life and humanity undetected; sometimes. I revel in the lack of pressure to measure up, to be something instead of someone.            When I feel invisible, I embrace the grace, create in the quiet that is granted, and look again. Look again at what I value, what I believe, where I find my worth and identity. In the hidden there is room to grow and my soul rejoices.             When I feel invisible, forgotten, I reflect back again, speak back to myself, and remind me I'm not, I just feel that way sometimes.
