In It All

Somewhere in the night I wait, wait for change and food, after a trying day that took everything I had. Somewhere in the ending of a day, in the middle of the week I wait, writing as I wait. I think, consider the day's events, and dare to hope in spite of the trials faced. Somewhere in the middle of it all, of all that's encountered, all that a Wednesday would dare throw my way, I still hope in Jesus; somewhere in the night, waiting for food and change in it all.
