Beyond (Pantoum Poem)
Growing beyond the stunted.
Slowly rising to the full display of good guidelines.
Reaching constructive potential in healing.
This is a healthy shape for living.
Slowly rising to the full display of good guidelines.
Stretching to the upright hope of being whole.
This is a healthy shape for living.
This is life and not mere existence.
Stretching to the upright hope of being whole.
Refusing to stay "boxed" up.
This is life and not mere existence.
Becoming better in taking action and shape.
Refusing to stay "boxed" up.
Reaching constructive potential in healing.
Becoming better in taking action and shape.
Growing beyond the stunted.
Poem 13.)
Slow And Steady: A Turtle's Ode
"Slow and steady wins the race.",
reminds me I'm not behind,
forgotten,
or less than.
Slow and steady is the pace....
usually...
and on this I'm thinking.
Slow and steady is the snore,
of the unaware of my approach,
of this fierce consistency that overcomes,
overcomes and thrives,
as I watch the surprised "rabbits",
those who didn't think I could,
wake from their disbelief,
the same fractured "faith" that assumed I was incapable.
God bless you dear "rabbits",
this finish line crossed is for you,
from another "turtle",
one who's slow but steady.
Poem 14.)
This Is Life(Poetry)
Live in hope; for this is life, life with meaning.
Poem 15.)
In The Cool Of The Day (Rhyming Poetry)
In the cool of the day,
where I wanna stay,
take time to recover,
to enjoy the cool way.
Lingering here,
Letting go of rush and fear.
In the cool of the day,
where I wanna stay,
stopping in time,
just to write an early morning rhyme.
In the cool of the day,
resting as I stay,
for a moment or two,
even if it's not the whole day.
Poem 16.)
In The Gray (Triolet Poem)
In the "gray", seek grace.
Let not "clouds" block you.
Through the overcast you can overcome.
In the "gray", seek grace.
In the tough moments, persevere.
When faith isn't easy, believe, especially here.
In the "gray", seek grace.
Let not "clouds" block you.
