The Stories Of Ordinary Men (An Older Poem I Wrote)

 Efforts not often known,

still are they there.

To the hardships do they go,

about them is told these deeds and words,

the stories of ordinary men.

They shape our world,

for better and for worse.

Their legacies are undeniable.

Their presence is felt,

their absence too.

Listen and see what is done in the everyday.

Heed lessons told and shown,

examples of good and bad,

made known in the stories of ordinary men.
