Power Of Giggles (An Older Poem I Wrote)

Power of giggles,

lighting once darkened rooms,

within a house of me,

light being let in;

beautiful bright joy pouring into my soul!

Laughter filling the once hopeless,

sorrow known for a time,

flooding such lonely places,

lighting faces,

giving grace and healing,

even if only in part,

and for a moment.

The power of giggles,

from little lives,

with big impact,

found in the unexpected,

in children that bless,

offering this profound gift,

this amazing interaction:

in the power of giggles,

a power that’s needed.
