.....In All

"Warts and all", the phrase I saw in my head when coming across some older fiction story I wrote. Those "ugly" parts we wanna hide, I wanted to hide (especially when seeing how embarrassing bad the story I came across was (listed below first).

As I thought about it more and more though  I kept getting this impression God was wanting me to share it to encourage others, (this and one other story I wrote that wasn't great), to encourage someone that even if anything good and constructive you attempt to create isn't good at first , remember, you're still attempting SOMETHING (and you aren't alone, I'm currently learnING this to); showing myself "warts and all" .

Tough Tasks

I was at a dead end, but I had to try, so I did. I looked and theorized until it came about: the answer I was looking for. I couldn't begin to solve this thing in a day, I could only ask this question until this mystery was solved: "W, where are you?" .

I realize that's a tough task for a detective like me (being a wombat and all), but others have had tougher tasks in their animal lives in this animal society I am part of.

Fiction Story 2.)

We Survived

We survived. It was a long journey, and it took everything we had, but we did it. We overcame. We didn't think we would, but we did. Slowly but surely we rose above and sought to succeed, and succeed we did. We refused to quit though everything was against us. Truth be told we nearly died a few times.

Looking back on it now I see how it changed us, how it grew us into something stronger. Over and over it was attempted, and over and over critics talked. The tests fell apart each time, (some more disastrous than others) until we finally succeeded. The void opened, the unknown stood there inviting us to something new. We entered the new and found our way: to travel through time. The only drawback discovered is how we still find many foods tasting like chicken for some reason when we eat.
