Own These Roads

          Twists and turns enter my vision, and I am bracing myself for the wild roads ahead. Back and forth I'll ride.... still I'll ride these wild ways. Travelling unpredictability I'll continue forward in an attitude of prayer, remembering I can't " 'own' these 'roads' " that seek to fight back without my Savior here.   

           Along such winding ways I'll make way down these untamed ways riding in tandem and parallel with each and every kind of road called days, "travellers" called humanity in all it's diversity encountered along the journey. Here I am left to " 'own' these 'roads' " of life, these wild ups and downs, twists and turns of all a day brings where I'm struggling to rise and overcome that I may ascend above what may come my way.... though I am not alone; thank You Jesus, for not leaving me alone.

Just Write (How To Create When You're Beginning And Feeling Overwhelmed)

               You’re stuck. You feel empty. Overthinking seeks to imprison you; you can’t be shackled though, unless you don’t try. Just write. Don’t worry if it’s perfect, or even how much you will be able to write. Listen as you do, listen as that “inner writer” speaks (for they will) and words will arrive to meet you. First a few words will gather together, one by one, making complete pictures; small actions to a bigger result of greater writing. The little will grow, and so will your confidence. I Will Stand My Ground

        Light breaks through as clouds of despair are pierced, as hope begins to shine bright again, fierce and unrelenting. Life enters with the wind where change casts it's welcome breezes, and here I breathe in this refreshing shift of resolve.         Small steps are taken toward the dawning of renewal, a faith restored again as a good to be is reassured and seen in parts with each movement to healing; healing to grace for the broken, direction for the lost...for us all.
