In The Cocoon (An Older Poem I Wrote)

In the quiet,

dark place of change and struggle,

and here new happens.

In the hidden,

life emerges,

pushes through and past all hindrances,

wakens to purpose and hope.

In the cocoon we are all found,

transitioning toward identity,

becoming who we are:

able to "fly" in ways only we were meant to.
