Healthy Expectations
If we are all honest with ourselves, we all expect something in life, whether it's from others around us, or ourselves. This isn't always a bad thing, and there are certain expectations that should be met in life, yet there must be healthy expectations set in place for us, and those around us. It can be easy to speak against another, to place unhealthy expectations on those around us as well.
I'll be clear and say this isn't a rant and rave post, it is merely a post regarding us expecting in the healthy and constructive way, in establishing healthy within us, and those around us. As we consider those around us, let us be found looking with the approach that those around us CAN, NOT simply SHOULD or MUST. If we look at it this way, grace and empowering will be known; even an encouragement. For we can get upset and bent out of shape when those around disappoint us, and when we ourselves do not meet up to these unreasonable standards of expectation placed upon us (however that might look for us); or we can remember that we are all made and called for different things outside of the universal responsibilities and callings that we are meant for ( such as paying bills, making sure to take care of daily hygiene, simply doing the usual responsibilities that we all know, etc. ,etc). These are healthy expectations... ones we must establish if we are to work together and grow together as a world, finding growth and completion in our own individual lives when life and social interaction takes place.
