You're My Mountain (An Older Poem I Wrote)

"You're my mountain!",

said to me,

spoken from upside-down face,

in great impact,

left in silent surprise,

feeling more of a mole hill.

Playful and innocent,

these big words from little mouths,

received with power,

gifted to the dirt mound,

the mass now given majesty,

mastery over misery,

blessed through this new name,

no more shame;

climb,

climb these heights in play dear little one,

climb your mountain!

I've always loved your adventurous soul son!
