I Pulled The Trigger (An Older Poem I Wrote)

I pulled the trigger,

so I might as well aim,

firing these bullets called:

effort,

better than before,

positive impact,

blessings given eagerly.

I emptied the chamber,

the one of my soul,

shooting thoughts and emotions,

taking aim with deadly accuracy,

each round released better than the last.

I pulled the trigger,

so I might as well aim,

to leave the best of me,

hit creation to encourage,

hope for their best,

strive for their best,

to leave all life thriving as it should.

I pulled the trigger,

and this time I'm aiming better.
