Generosity....Differently

         I suspect the title of this post may make people cringe, even be dissuaded from reading this post; it's not what some may think though. It's not about "clickbait" (something that gets people to click on something, for any who are unfamiliar with what that is), nor is this about getting people to give money. The more I consider what generosity really is, the more inclined I am to be more generous. 

         Not too long ago (I don't remember exactly when), I heard a pastor talk in a sermon about how generosity is MORE than giving money. Generosity can take many forms. It can be our time, attention, understanding.....and this is ONLY a few of the ways! I keep thinking about this and find myself led to be more generous. I don't have a ton of money, but I find myself practicing generosity with other means, one of them is with giving my writing away on here. This doesn't necessarily mean I'll stop writing and submitting elsewhere for impact and payment (right now anyway; for I still am praying about what Jesus would have me do with that); it only means I'm following a leading to share more of this writing here for free to empower and encourage others. It's my hope that it'll reach who it's meant to, and point others to Jesus while showing what a life lived for Jesus looks like. 

           I am not the answer for any one person...I just wanna use these words to bless and meet someone where they're at (however that is). Just Write (How To Create When You're Beginning And Feeling Overwhelmed)

               You’re stuck. You feel empty. Overthinking seeks to imprison you; you can’t be shackled though, unless you don’t try. Just write. Don’t worry if it’s perfect, or even how much you will be able to write. Listen as you do, listen as that “inner writer” speaks (for they will) and words will arrive to meet you. First a few words will gather together, one by one, making complete pictures; small actions to a bigger result of greater writing. The little will grow, and so will your confidence. I Will Stand My Ground

        Light breaks through as clouds of despair are pierced, as hope begins to shine bright again, fierce and unrelenting. Life enters with the wind where change casts it's welcome breezes, and here I breathe in this refreshing shift of resolve.         Small steps are taken toward the dawning of renewal, a faith restored again as a good to be is reassured and seen in parts with each movement to healing; healing to grace for the broken, direction for the lost...for us all.
