Dog Days

            A place reached. A way navigated. A bark heard...again. This is the reality of working in certain industries (like mine). Today was no exception, and probably MORE so than usual were the presence of dogs. I still like animals, but when you see them as often as I do it can be alot at times. You'll have to cross the terrain of interacting with each one and that can daunting at times. Still, in these "dog days" (like today), when you see the kindness of animals, or something goes better than you expect there is a sense of reward.....especially when that "good" is simply not getting bit.

Just Write (How To Create When You're Beginning And Feeling Overwhelmed)

               You’re stuck. You feel empty. Overthinking seeks to imprison you; you can’t be shackled though, unless you don’t try. Just write. Don’t worry if it’s perfect, or even how much you will be able to write. Listen as you do, listen as that “inner writer” speaks (for they will) and words will arrive to meet you. First a few words will gather together, one by one, making complete pictures; small actions to a bigger result of greater writing. The little will grow, and so will your confidence. I Will Stand My Ground

        Light breaks through as clouds of despair are pierced, as hope begins to shine bright again, fierce and unrelenting. Life enters with the wind where change casts it's welcome breezes, and here I breathe in this refreshing shift of resolve.         Small steps are taken toward the dawning of renewal, a faith restored again as a good to be is reassured and seen in parts with each movement to healing; healing to grace for the broken, direction for the lost...for us all.
