Under Clouds

          Under clouds we walk, through dreary valleys and down long paths travelled. It will take us if we let it. It will hold us if we give such permission, this sorrow and unmotivation found in our "cloudy days"; yet from nowhere it would seem a holy stubborn motivation rises, this surprising curiosity from the very heart of God Himself appears and begins it's work in us. This curiosity to find out what's ahead in the following chapters called tomorrow, even in the next "paragraph" of hours on the same "page" of the present day we are walking through, one of "clouds" and struggle. 


         Under clouds we walk still, through the presence of Jesus leading us, the power of the Holy Spirit working within us as we ask, as we continue on; remembering it will not be cloudy forever, it will not rain forever, and the sun will return once more in our toughest days even. 


        Help us Jesus in these difficult days, when "clouds" loom, that we may not forget the good that is still possible found in the light of Your love and presence, Your working within us. In Your name Jesus we pray, amen.

Just Write (How To Create When You're Beginning And Feeling Overwhelmed)

               You’re stuck. You feel empty. Overthinking seeks to imprison you; you can’t be shackled though, unless you don’t try. Just write. Don’t worry if it’s perfect, or even how much you will be able to write. Listen as you do, listen as that “inner writer” speaks (for they will) and words will arrive to meet you. First a few words will gather together, one by one, making complete pictures; small actions to a bigger result of greater writing. The little will grow, and so will your confidence. I Will Stand My Ground

        Light breaks through as clouds of despair are pierced, as hope begins to shine bright again, fierce and unrelenting. Life enters with the wind where change casts it's welcome breezes, and here I breathe in this refreshing shift of resolve.         Small steps are taken toward the dawning of renewal, a faith restored again as a good to be is reassured and seen in parts with each movement to healing; healing to grace for the broken, direction for the lost...for us all.
