Literary Aging
I am but an ordinary child playing with words, writing with the limited skills I have.
^This is how often feel when writing (especially when looking at the different types of writing). There is alot to learn yet, and with every way learned I "grow up" in the literary sense. Today I "grew up" again as I began learning a new type of poetry: Villanelle. It's a specific set of lines written in a timing and rhyming scheme, with one or two lined repeating. Once I began working past the technical side of it I actually enjoyed writing it. I am NO expert in this form, but to actually discover I can write something that technical is empowering AND encouraging. As I translate these new gifts and skills to other areas, I just wanna share this transparent story for someone who may need to know they can do difficult things too. Remember, you are NOT the only one struggling, and you are not alone.
Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. Thank you for your support!
