Jerichos Inside

           Round and round we're marching. Day after day, looking upon the fortified walls we seek to break through; the stronghold that stands strong still. Again and again we march while saying nothing....when we could. These are our "Jerichos" within, the places we look upon with longing hearts to defeat and overtake, those places that keep us from true life. 

            They rise larger than life it seems, appear indestructible, but they aren't. On our own we can do nothing, but IN AND THROUGH Jesus we can do all things.....even see these fortified places within us fall and never rise again. March for six days, then shout on the seventh, sound your ram's horn of victory! Your "marching" will look different than others (and that's okay), but march regardless, do so in Jesus' name and in His presence and power. Make sure you "shout" and call out your victory (sound the horn), shout truth and the very promises of Jesus about yourself to these strongholds. Hold fast to Jesus, to these truths and promises, even in the six days of "marching", and believe (especially on the seventh day) as you go up against these Jerichos in your life. Believe there is freedom, that you are new, and don't go back; take these strongholds. 

             These are the hangups and sins that have kept you, that have kept us all. No matter how long it may take, let's all fight our "Jerichos" inside, in Jesus' name. See you at the wall, marching. You.are.not.alone.

Just Write (How To Create When You're Beginning And Feeling Overwhelmed)

               You’re stuck. You feel empty. Overthinking seeks to imprison you; you can’t be shackled though, unless you don’t try. Just write. Don’t worry if it’s perfect, or even how much you will be able to write. Listen as you do, listen as that “inner writer” speaks (for they will) and words will arrive to meet you. First a few words will gather together, one by one, making complete pictures; small actions to a bigger result of greater writing. The little will grow, and so will your confidence. I Will Stand My Ground

        Light breaks through as clouds of despair are pierced, as hope begins to shine bright again, fierce and unrelenting. Life enters with the wind where change casts it's welcome breezes, and here I breathe in this refreshing shift of resolve.         Small steps are taken toward the dawning of renewal, a faith restored again as a good to be is reassured and seen in parts with each movement to healing; healing to grace for the broken, direction for the lost...for us all.
