To Begin
"Where do I start?", I'd wonder. It always seems to be the point where I get overwhelmed easily. It's the "mountains" before me of everything all at once, and this is where I almost stop before I begin. I will see too much, focus on far too much, and feel the weight of it all nearly crush me. This is where a new way had to be made. I'd pray for wisdom and begin seeing various stories and approaches of others. I'd read different Bible verses and find new approaches to facing life differently.
I'd pray for wisdom and listen as Jesus taught me new ways to better handle busy and hurried. Sometimes I fail, and others I rise in victory. When I rush and don't take time to focus on one aspect at a time (even if I only have seconds) I will crumble. This readjusting became a new way. "Remember the bigger picture, but don't focus on it all. You can't do it by yourself....and that's okay....you weren't meant to.", I'd think to myself.
Maybe these words would reach another. Maybe they'll encourage someone out there. Trust in Jesus. Acknowledge Him in ALL YOUR WAYS and pray for wisdom in the busy and overwhelming moments of life. Take it all in one at a time (even if busy only allows seconds); every second counts.
