Somewhere Between The Noise....

           Somewhere between the noise and the silence I hear the call to create. Life is loud. Days are busy, yet silence still remains, and it is here I listen. Listen as inspiration invites me in. Listen as the noise of a world that never seems to stop is drowned out. Listen as a moment to write meaningful expression and healthy creativity suddenly surrounds me.... surrounds me and it's okay....okay as I find rest in creative expression through words I'm writing that bring grace to this tired soul.

           More than circumstances, or feelings. More than wishful thinking. More than fluffy feel good affirmations; I'll hope. When I've fallen flat on my face. When the odds are against me. Maybe I Can....

            Maybe I can write something, here in the middle. In the middle of a chaotic work day. In the middle of hardship and pressure under the load of a workday. Maybe I can create, just create, to make room and space for good, for healthy. Maybe I can make something good that has impact; so I'll try.             I'll empty me again, in the heavy loads of a Thursday workday, of a brutal pace and pressure, remembering Jesus redeems EVEN here, writing to make room for good inside again as He works.
