Remembering The Way

"What do I write; on a day that's been rough, when I've felt off, when the road of life keeps winding here and there through a day?", I wonder to myself. My thoughts are heavy, along with my heart, finishing a day that's nearly beat me to death; still there's a need to release the pressure of a day.

It turns, turns to creativity as each word is written, becomes something empowering as the weight is used to create. It changes and changes me, making hope a possible thing as I considered such a wild day. I reflect, I consider what's unfolded and where grace stepped in. I pause, look once more at how it's all happened, and where Jesus worked. I take moments, scattered ones, and simply rest in some gratitude, remembering the way made that I couldn't have found without Jesus.
