Sighing

An exhale, a breath inward then out, trying to process. Taken in, then pushed out, the stress of uncomfortable, of unwelcome, the safest way to express myself while being myself.

Sighing, when I'm tempted to rant. Sighing, when yelling seems easier. Sighing, when I could be visibly and audibly upset, when I need to release such weight bearing down on me. Sighing, when it's misunderstood, when I wanna do more, express more, remembering it's about constructive expression and not just anything that's readily available in the moment.
