Different Miracles

           As another busy and dreary Monday workday came and went I was reflecting on the journey taken through the place I've worked at (and for) for several years. I went over the difficulties in my mind, considering the EXTREMELY tough ones I've had to face over my time working for the place I work for now.....and this VERY surprising thought came to me (I'd like to think it was Jesus speaking to me, though I'm not sure): "You've overcome those things. Look at how far you've come. You've been protected, and not destroyed." . 

            I said "I'd like to think it was Jesus" because of the words "You've been protected, and not destroyed." . I don't always do good with what I call "healthy thinking" (where you don't forget what's wrong or not good, but you don't FOCUS on it, focusing on what's good and constructive instead), but this is another welcome and faith-building moment I believe Jesus blessed me with to remind me He's still working, and that miracles aren't ONLY giant ones of seas being parted for people to escape danger and death.

      Thank You Jesus for redeeming my thoughts and emotions; show others You can do the same for them too. I pray these things in Your name Jesus, amen.

Just Write (How To Create When You're Beginning And Feeling Overwhelmed)

               You’re stuck. You feel empty. Overthinking seeks to imprison you; you can’t be shackled though, unless you don’t try. Just write. Don’t worry if it’s perfect, or even how much you will be able to write. Listen as you do, listen as that “inner writer” speaks (for they will) and words will arrive to meet you. First a few words will gather together, one by one, making complete pictures; small actions to a bigger result of greater writing. The little will grow, and so will your confidence. I Will Stand My Ground

        Light breaks through as clouds of despair are pierced, as hope begins to shine bright again, fierce and unrelenting. Life enters with the wind where change casts it's welcome breezes, and here I breathe in this refreshing shift of resolve.         Small steps are taken toward the dawning of renewal, a faith restored again as a good to be is reassured and seen in parts with each movement to healing; healing to grace for the broken, direction for the lost...for us all.
