A Few Moments (An Older Fiction Story I Wrote)
"They will never know.", she thought to herself, still she remained, laying on a small mat nearby. She had her recreation for the day and she was tired. She missed him. It may have seemed at times like she didn't, but not everything is as it seems.
Clouds linger over another day, and gray lit the atmosphere. It felt lonely to say the least, still, this sorrow was more than dreary weather. He cared for her, took her in when no one would, and even showed a mutual respect that most wouldn't. "They will never know how much I care for him.", she thought again to herself, waiting on her pet bed near the door for him; for a few moments from now and her person would return, return to the cat.
