In Pieces

        In pieces life doesn't always make sense, it may even seem illogical. In pieces it can appear as though there is no progression forward. 


         Even here though in pieces there is still a forward progression, still healing, though it is a little at a time. In the shattered seasons it's easy to get discouraged, embrace defeat, even entertain the very idea to simply give up and never rise from these broken states of being. In pieces though healing still happens when these fractured parts are sorted through and made right (when they are "worked" and put back in their proper places); though this is different for each person. Here in what isn't "put together" there is still hope in pieces that seem beyond repair. We just need to be willing to gather our broken pieces of us and bring them to Jesus to put us back together, to seek His help and leading; after all, He knows our pieces and the completed puzzle of who we are meant to be better than we do.

Just Write (How To Create When You're Beginning And Feeling Overwhelmed)

               You’re stuck. You feel empty. Overthinking seeks to imprison you; you can’t be shackled though, unless you don’t try. Just write. Don’t worry if it’s perfect, or even how much you will be able to write. Listen as you do, listen as that “inner writer” speaks (for they will) and words will arrive to meet you. First a few words will gather together, one by one, making complete pictures; small actions to a bigger result of greater writing. The little will grow, and so will your confidence. I Will Stand My Ground

        Light breaks through as clouds of despair are pierced, as hope begins to shine bright again, fierce and unrelenting. Life enters with the wind where change casts it's welcome breezes, and here I breathe in this refreshing shift of resolve.         Small steps are taken toward the dawning of renewal, a faith restored again as a good to be is reassured and seen in parts with each movement to healing; healing to grace for the broken, direction for the lost...for us all.
