Words

              It's a Monday. It's been a cold start and the miles have worn me, the tasks have taken alot out of me. It's the other side of a holiday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas isn't far away. It's alot that keeps happening (even when things SEEM slow!). Days will drag on and the events of each one can be alot to take in. 

.             Even here though I still find words. "Look again. Remember what you've come out of, what you've been delivered from. Remember to step back, pause if you must, and consider Me (Jesus) and all I've done in your life.". Even here I still find the words, words of Jesus speaking to me, "It will be better and there will be rest. Rest in Me.", and it is here amid the hustle and hurrying (where I've found most of the anxiety I tend to face) suddenly calm and my tired soul find the strength and encouragement to continue on; among the words and pause found in Jesus on another relatively busy day. 

                Let every weary and tired soul find rest in You and Your encouragement Jesus, through the words you speak to give them hope and renewal. In Your name Jesus I pray, amen.

Just Write (How To Create When You're Beginning And Feeling Overwhelmed)

               You’re stuck. You feel empty. Overthinking seeks to imprison you; you can’t be shackled though, unless you don’t try. Just write. Don’t worry if it’s perfect, or even how much you will be able to write. Listen as you do, listen as that “inner writer” speaks (for they will) and words will arrive to meet you. First a few words will gather together, one by one, making complete pictures; small actions to a bigger result of greater writing. The little will grow, and so will your confidence. I Will Stand My Ground

        Light breaks through as clouds of despair are pierced, as hope begins to shine bright again, fierce and unrelenting. Life enters with the wind where change casts it's welcome breezes, and here I breathe in this refreshing shift of resolve.         Small steps are taken toward the dawning of renewal, a faith restored again as a good to be is reassured and seen in parts with each movement to healing; healing to grace for the broken, direction for the lost...for us all.
