Building

            The miles have been long that have been traveled today, and I feel weary within this spirit; yet even here I feel a stirring deep in my soul (I know that sounds strange, but it's true). Though the day has been hard, and the demands of this day sought to own me, Jesus is building within this life He's given me. 

              So here I am, building upon this life in creativity given. These are the unscripted words, the ones I didn't plan for, yet feel I need to express somehow. This is where creativity is building, dare I say even a calling; so I'm writing along the miles of a long day, hoping to be faithful and maybe inspire some Holy determination to someone out there who may need it. I don't know what your calling or gifts are, but may you be found building also (whatever that looks like), in Jesus' name.

            So let's build together in creativity as Jesus leads us; let's all be found walking in what we were meant to: the presence of Jesus, and every single ability He has given us. This is for the glory of God: building once more again.

Just Write (How To Create When You're Beginning And Feeling Overwhelmed)

               You’re stuck. You feel empty. Overthinking seeks to imprison you; you can’t be shackled though, unless you don’t try. Just write. Don’t worry if it’s perfect, or even how much you will be able to write. Listen as you do, listen as that “inner writer” speaks (for they will) and words will arrive to meet you. First a few words will gather together, one by one, making complete pictures; small actions to a bigger result of greater writing. The little will grow, and so will your confidence. I Will Stand My Ground

        Light breaks through as clouds of despair are pierced, as hope begins to shine bright again, fierce and unrelenting. Life enters with the wind where change casts it's welcome breezes, and here I breathe in this refreshing shift of resolve.         Small steps are taken toward the dawning of renewal, a faith restored again as a good to be is reassured and seen in parts with each movement to healing; healing to grace for the broken, direction for the lost...for us all.
