What Would I Say?

"What would I say, on a busy Tuesday?", a question that speaks loudly to day. What could be said that would waken from bed, stir a sleepy and slumbering head? What would I say, on a busy Tuesday?            Here in the rush, pushing past pressure's unending fuss, I ask and I question, "What would I say, on a busy Tuesday?" ; a question I ask of this blog as I pray. Here do I write, listen on through, wondering if these words will reach out to you. Here in what's tough, when life has been rough, I rise and I pray, look  fight through the day, to find life and victory on a busy Tuesday. Here

Here, in the in-between, I remain; looking, praying. Here, in the middle of contrast, between peace and chaos, purpose and aimless wandering I exist. Here, I consider the landscape within and around, looking, praying for a way forward; then I begin to see. Hope is not in what was, or could be....it's now. Regardless of circumstances, or anything else ever changing. Hope doesn't change as I allow it to grow, but it must be allowed to grow, here, in me.  Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. Gonna Live (Pantoum Poem)

I'm just gonna live. One moment at a time.  One day at a time. Planning with a pencil. One moment at a time. Breathing in life again. Planning with a pencil. Learning to edit when needed. Breathing in life again. Looking around at what living is. Learning to edit when needed. Eager to erase unhelpful and create good. Looking around at what living is. One day at a time. Eager to erase unhelpful and create good. I'm just gonna live. Somewhere, Quietly

Somewhere, quietly, I'm by myself, torn between engaging and isolating. Somewhere, slowly, I'm taking in the day, the busy day that sought to crush me. Somewhere, fully, I'm looking again at what could be salvaged, what shouldn't, and how to grow despite the pressing that nearly flattened me; for I am coal that holds potential.           I look up, look around, praying while remembering that I'm not destroyed, that this isn't all there is. Here I stand among another busy part of life again, wondering, praying, how a diamond can come from the pressing this coal has endured; for I'm tired of the pressing.  Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. One Word

One word and then another and it was apparent: I wasn't "from here". One phrase then two as we talked about the weather and whether or not it's different there then here, in the South.            One moment to start small, share differences and find our stories meeting in the middle, where we now are, from one word. Through A Window

Through a window shone the light, the light in the night, the light in the night from the moon. Through a window somewhere in the small side eye it cast aside darkness and brought wonder.          Curiosity soon followed, and message began speaking: even when it's dark, there's still light, we just need to look through a window in our lives to hope and focus on it; this will change everything for good. Sighing

An exhale, a breath inward then out, trying to process. Taken in, then pushed out, the stress of uncomfortable, of unwelcome, the safest way to express myself while being myself.          Sighing, when I'm tempted to rant. Sighing, when yelling seems easier. Sighing, when I could be visibly and audibly upset, when I need to release such weight bearing down on me. Sighing, when it's misunderstood, when I wanna do more, express more, remembering it's about constructive expression and not just anything that's readily available in the moment.  Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. For A Little While

To shift and to break, for a little while. To heal and process, for a little while. To write from the right shift, from the changing of structure, renewal of health, time, and perspective; writing in this shift, for a little while. Go (Poetic Experiment)

Into The Light

Into the light of an early morning, entering growth again. Into the emerging new opportunity, writing before coffee, yet still writing. The way blocked for a moment, 'till I entered the light, where perseverance and ink flowed freely again onto a page; into the light, I write, to declutter self and start again. Work

The fall, the question, 'Will I get up again?". The breaking, the shift, as "best laid plans" become nothing more than wishful thinking; still, I will rise. "What will I learn?", looking at the beginning of a day. That failure is part of the journey and NOT all of it, that plans must be flexible to some degree. Here, I get up. Here, I begin to move forward, a little humbler, a little wiser, looking to the rest of the journey, and NOT the part that didn't work.  Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. As The Day Closes (Ekphrastic Poem)

As the day closes it never does, walking gently, slowly and with intention it's nurtured: love. Fully, embracing the moment regardless of how long, taking time to make time, to make memories, here as the day closes. Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone else who could be blessed also. Broken Bridges

The sight, the sound, the way seen..and I'm curious. The old place, with some old stories that keep trying to speak, from broken bridges. The water rushing down and across, over and through, where neglect speaks loudly of abandon.             "What was there? Who was there? What happened then?", questions that wander through my thoughts. Here I'm looking, taking in the discarded trash along banks of a tiny creek, where broken bridges tell me something significant once happened here; here, where a broken foot bridge still remains and I'm left to ask what would have happened if it remained, was tended to, and used like it once was. Here, where a way was made that I can't ignore.  Sidenote: If any of the writing on this blog has made a good impact on your life in someway (EVEN if it was something you may have enjoyed reading for a particular reason), please feel free to share this blog with someone els...

Regardless (An 8-Word Poetic Experiment)
