New Unicorns (A Slightly Older Fiction Story I Wrote)

           I saw a unicorn today. Watching a talented individual do something amazing and different from everyone else. I watched their story from a hospital bed…. when I began to hope and pray, suddenly witnessing my transformation to a new unicorn, one where my paralyzed body was able to move again and a little at a time; and I could feel it!

          I saw the child before me, showing joy and innocence, present in the present and fully embracing jubilation even in the everyday.
