Just For A Minute (A Poetic Rhyming Experiment)

Just for a minute,

where I'm in it,

the thick of life and busy,

where it sometimes makes my head dizzy;

I'll write.

Just for a moment,

I'll seek to own it,

rather than it owning me,

where I can be free,

see,

even inside the pressure that tries to measure me,

speak little,

even belittle this peace.

Just for a time,

I'll rhyme,

I'll write to release,

to cease this tense,

here in the present tense,

one most call a day,

busy or not.
