Chasing Trucks (An Older Poem I Wrote)

Braving new worlds,

them and their Maker,

setting courses on concrete oceans,

and us,

chasing trucks.

Massive metal whales,

making their presence known,

heard and shown,

horns calling out into man-made seas,

reaching travellers of all types,

ones as us,

chasing trucks,

seeking this new adventure,

where our sleeping souls wake,

where we dare to embrace enthuiasm,

joy,

living again beyond existence,

charting a course,

to reach what it means to be alive,

and share with all sleepers what we've found.
