Seeds (An Older Fiction Story I Wrote)

I was out one day, on my usual walk, where I feed the birds as well. I walked my regular route, then sat down on a bench in a nearby park. Today however was different.

When I went to feed the birds something strange happened. I didn't expect it, but it happened: the seed flew back at me; the strangest part was how it came from another direction! Little seeds hit the back of my head hard and I flinched ( both from pain and surprise). I looked around, saw no one, no acknowledgment of any who would do this, but it happened. I also heard laughing. It sounded like animal laughter. It was then I realized something when waking: I will never eat another ham sandwich before bed.
